STOP SOPA Bill by sakimichan
Join a SOPA and PIPA debate:bulletgreen:  What are SOPA and PIPA?
The United States Congress is proposing two laws that address the problem of wide-scale unlicensed distribution on the Internet of motion pictures, songs, trademarked goods, and patented pharmaceuticals.
One of the proposals is called SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and would direct search engines in the United States to block Internet sites outside the United States that are primarily engaged in distributing unlicensed content.Another proposal called PIPA (Protect IP Act) would block websites located in the United States as well. The Obama administration is putting a stop to these proposals.  It wants the Internet companies and the content companies to get together and come up with more functional and less destructive solutions.

One of the benefits of being co-founder of a group is watching the artists improve as they learn and  their abilities grow.

I am constantly amazed by the imagination, techniques and skill of the artists here on dA.  Composition and perspective is what makes me click on full view and the originality and colour scheme is also important and must enhance or conform to the subject of the artwork before I add them to my favourites.  Being a member of dA has exposed me to many and varied types of art forms and given me access to an incredible amount of resources. I will always be  grateful for this ongoing education and inspiration.

My dearest, darling Author:
I enjoyed reading your book, I really did. But there were some things that simply got on my nerves.
Your need to tell me absolutely everything, as if every tiny detail were just so integral to the plot, was supremely annoying. I do not need to know a character's hair and eye color when I first meet them, or every detail down to the style of his buttons when he walks into a scene; I do not necessarily need to know what his lunch was or that he went bowling with the guys last Saturday and has been in the league for five years. Take for instance that scene on the veranda, where the one protagonist stepped up to the wall and got his first good look at the sea in years. You wasted paragraphs and paragraphs of words explaining how, when he was a boy and saw the ocean for the first time, it was terrifying to him, left him with a feeling of crushing loneliness. Now, if you had simply said he stepped up to the wall and saw the sea for the first time in years, and had

Painful stabs of reality hit me with such force that my breathing was slowed to the point of near asphyxiation.
I was standing here but I felt as though it was not me.
That, I was outside my body looking past my emotions, to what my eyes could see.
My heart had taken on a much faster pace and it felt too big for my chest.
My arms hung loosely beside my torso, no will left for me to reach out.
No words came from my mouth although I wished them too.
Silence reigned and acceptance was inevitable as you walked away.
I saw BLACK today..
Too many unsaid words, many regrets and a lifetime of whatevers.
Shrouded moments of such darkness that no-one would understand, unless they were there themselves.
Sadly though, we seem to experience these times alone.
We could be in a crowded room and yet feel so isolated.
The mind is all-powerful and can make us or break us.
We believe what we hear, and we mimic what we see, and these two actions are our destruction.

I knew that somehow my feelings and my thinking were not the same as the other children. I lived in anxiety and fear that my secret would be found out, and that I would be taken away from my parents.
For as long as I can remember, the world has been awash with colours. My first memory of these experiences was feeling intensely red-orange when my mother refused to buy my something in the local supermarket. I wanted it so badly, my eyes and head exploded with dark red-orange. I threw myself onto the floor, smashed my fists and wailed.
My mother, being the practical woman she is, said,
"Well, I'm not going to hang around if you're going to act like this," and walked away.
I promptly lifted my head, and looked around. Finding that she was gone, my chest filled up with white, and grey and blue - the colours of loss, abandonment, fear, terror. I can remember it as if it happened five minutes ago. It was as if the colours wante

I recently read a journal, where the artist was saying how deviantART had changed over the years. Artists had left and new artists had arrived and how easy it had been to lose contact with those she had originally corresponded with and how often she wondered what was happening in their lives. I can't remember the name of the atist who wrote it but I  completely agree with her sentiments. There are so many artists  from two years ago that I have lost track of unintentionally through lack of time, which is why I enjoyed the llama madness. I gave them to deviants who have been supportive and friendly during my time on dA and caught up with their journals and artworks and also took the opportunity to visit the pages of those who had recently :+fav: my work and discovered new artists as well. For me, these llamas have been catch up llamas :iconcheerplz:
